Our core business is zinc-casting of the highest quality with specified shapes and dimensions.
Our craftsmanship is exceptional because of dimensional accuracy (deviations of 0.05 mm are possible), fine wall thicknesses (as far as 1 mm thickness is feasible), very small draft angles (less than 1 ° possible), high tracking accuracy, high strength and impermeability of electromagnetic radiation. Our die makers are highly trained and very experienced in helping you to optimize your construction designs in regard to design, mold joint, release properties and maximizing use of material.
Our particular strength is the production of small and medium batch sizes. By sating flexible and making ourselves available to our customers, we are able to customize orders on short notice and in small quantities.
Some of our productions can be found below:
All form shapes necessary for the production are manufactured in our own facilities by using the latest CAD systems. Our die makers create the molds and mold inserts with the use of CNC machining centers, classic turning and milling machines as well as our EDMs.
We are specialized in combi mold shapes from various construction kits that meet the highest demands on surface and dimensional accuracy.
Interchangeable mold inserts and slide-cores allow us to vary the shapes. These flexible options have benefitted our customers for years.
In our eleven hot chamber die-casting machines we use Z410 and Z430 zinc alloys.
We cast components for various assemblies in small and medium series components with clamping forces from 450 to 2500kN. Their weights vary between one and 2500 grams. The composition of the fully recyclable zinc alloys is regularly audited by the Reinheitszeichen-Verband Zink-Druckguss e.V. (a German association for zinc purity). Our membership in this association for more than 25 years allows us to guarantee the consistent quality of our products.
In order to provide our customers with fully finished products, we also offer complete machining.
In addition to the usual treatments like deburring, grinding, milling, drilling, tapping, reaming, and abrasive blasting, we process components with our modern CNC lathe to deliver our customers components that are ready for immediate installation.
If required, surface coatings like powder coating, nickel coating, and chromium coating will be undertaken by one of our reliable business partners.
Our production is under the constant supervision of quality assurance. We are ISO 9001:2008 certified and keep our facilities a state-of-the-art manufacturing site. Like that, we are able to guarantee an optimal level of precision and delivery dates on schedule.
Our state-of-the-art 3D coordinated measuring machine allows precision tests and standardized testing protocols at any time.
Our company has been a fixture in the die-casting industry for over 60 years. From toys to dental laboratories to machinery components, our quality finished die-cast zinc products can be found in nearly every industry:
Today, around 40 employees work in our newly built, 2000 square meter production hall.
In 1953 Friedrich Döbrich founded his Döbrich Die-Casting company in the back of a house in Nuremberg. The first products were created by a hand-driven die-casting machine. Five years later the demand had grown to an extent where he had to relocate to a bigger production site to his nearby hometown of Ansbach.
After his unexpected passing in 1970 his widow Julie Döbrich took over the company and managed the business until the end of 1998.
The company was handed over in 1999 to her son in law Helmut Regnet-Döbrich. He took on the financial management, while his brother in law Gerhard Bauer took on the production management. This change in management also brought a change in machinery: the production range was continuously extended and modernized. The goal of delivering fully finished components to the customers was achieved soon afterwards, but we are constantly working to keep our production facilities on the cutting edge of technology. Only the surface coating is carried out by reliable business partners.
In 2007, the technical engineer Oliver Bauer started working in the company of his father and his uncle and took over his uncles company shares five years later. In 2013 Oliver Bauer became CEO.
In recent years, we have extensively modernized our machines and added three new casting machines, 2 CNC lathes, 2 CNC machining centers (BAZ) , a vertical machining center, an EDM machine, a new 3D coordinate measuring machine, an ultrasonic cleaning system, and a new blast cabinet.
